Tom Dier was an early resident of Nassau-By-The-Sea and later Point Lookout. He was the area's first Postmaster and also purveyed postcards, candy, ice, ice cream and soda. He played a notable role as a recorder of the early days (See the Outlook, vol.1 no. 1, "The Pig Who Ate Ice Cream" and "The Early Church") having lived through the destruction of Nassau-By-The-Sea and the evolution of Point Lookout. |
